ISAAC Living Recovery training is being developed to equip volunteers and staff looking for a Christian approach to help and support people recover from drug, alcohol or other addictions.
You can choose from two streams:
Developing Recovery Communities
Mainly for Churches or Projects with some experience in helping people with addictions or wanting to explore how to reach out to a needy and growing part of their community.
Normally a 1 day/2 module Course which can be structured to meet particular needs.
Courses are delivered and administered locally for up to about 30 attendees.
Foundations in Addictions Recovery
A more comprehensive course covering drug and alcohol abuse, mental health issues, codependency and addictive behaviour. This is for staff and volunteers working in the addictions field or involved in an existing Church ministry or Project.
Normally taken over 5 days in 10 modules.
Courses are delivered regionally for up to about 15 attendees.
