"I am sure this training will make a valuable contribution to the work with drug misusers – especially in community projects and in the church context”
Revd Prof Chris Cook, Durham University

Restore, Sheffield

"We have been working in partnership with Life for the World since 2008 when they began to deliver much of our training to our staff and volunteers.  Over these past 7 years they have resourced, equipped and encouraged us as we have stepped out into new initiatives and opportunities working with disadvantaged groups across Sheffield.  They have been great to work with and have been able to combine good quality, tailored training packages with an understanding and appreciation of the issues experienced by front-line churches and charities working with people with addictions".
Andy Niblock, Restore Ministries Sheffield

The Tabernacle, Lewisham

Living-Recovery’s partnership with the Tab kicked off with 48 people attending the Addiction Awareness Day in March 2014.

"People have been saying that their eyes have been really opened to a subject they were either misinformed about or ignorant to.  After experiencing the Awareness Day I am looking forward to what the rest of the partnership will bring. There has been a huge amount of interest from people who attended, and many people have expressed interest in joining our ministry to people with addictions, once it is fully developed.”
Hazel Scarlett, Greater Works

'The Tab', as the church is affectionately known, is a trans-generational and multi-cultural church of more than 800 people.  They have signed up to work in partnership with LFTW Living-Recovery for 2 years to access training, support and supervision as they develop and implement Greater Works, a ministry designed to support people with addictions.
